Tayler Mauldin
Tayler is a board-certified nurse practitioner who works closely with Dr. Neustein in the evaluation and treatment of hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Emory University in 2018 and began her career in ENT and head and neck surgery, where she developed a strong foundation in surgical and perioperative care.
Tayler is known for her warm, patient-centered approach and her ability to make complex conditions easy to understand. She focuses on efficient, thorough visits and works with patients to develop clear, practical treatment plans that help them return to work, sports, and daily activities as quickly and safely as possible.
She plays a key role in patient care across new evaluations, follow-up visits, and post-operative management, helping ensure timely access to treatment within the practice.
Outside of work, Tayler enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and goldendoodle.
Sanik Patel
Sanik Patel is a Physician Assistant who works closely with Dr. Neustein in the evaluation and treatment of hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions. Originally from Kentucky, he moved to Georgia in 2025 after completing his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Sullivan University.
With nearly a decade of experience in the medical field, Sanik brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to patient care. He focuses on clearly understanding each patient's symptoms and goals, helping guide them through treatment options ranging from conservative care to surgical planning when appropriate.
Sanik is dedicated to making visits efficient, informative, and comfortable, with an emphasis on clear communication and practical treatment plans that help patients return to work, sports, and daily activities as quickly and safely as possible.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys exploring Georgia's outdoors and traveling with friends and family.
Brooke Barrett
Brooke Barrett is a medical assistant who works closely with Dr. Neustein and the care team to help ensure a smooth, efficient experience for patients throughout their visit. Originally from Dahlonega, Georgia, she is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported at every step of their care.
Brooke is completing her Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology and plans to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. She brings a thoughtful, patient-focused approach to the clinic and is committed to clear communication, attention to detail, and high-quality care.
She plays an important role in preparing patients for evaluation and treatment, coordinating care behind the scenes, and helping organize the surgical schedule to ensure procedures run efficiently and everything is fully prepared for the operating room.
Lysha Purcell
With more than 15 years of experience in sports medicine and orthopedic care, Lysha brings a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to injury management and rehabilitation. As a certified athletic trainer and orthopedic technician, she has extensive experience helping patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and return safely to work, sports, and daily activities.
Lysha earned her Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training and later completed her Master's degree, further strengthening her background in orthopedic and musculoskeletal care. In addition to her sports medicine experience, she is also a licensed massage therapist, giving her a well-rounded understanding of recovery, rehabilitation, and therapeutic care.
She works closely with Dr. Neustein and the care team to support patients throughout evaluation, treatment, and recovery, with a focus on clear communication, efficiency, and compassionate care.
Outside of work, Lysha enjoys gardening, canning, and spending time with her Belgian Malinois, reflecting her passion for wellness, balance, and an active lifestyle.
